Magazine layout mocked up on iPad
Really rough mockup of a magazine page laid out on an iPad at its native resolution. Type is a little hard to read. I'll have to try again with some anti-aliasing. I'm sure it was not unintentional that an 8.5 x 11 page at 768 pixels width resolves to a height of 990 pixels. That leaves 34 pixels for a navigation bar. Perfect.
Click through for a 1:1 view. Type is Helvetica Neue LT Std in 8.5 pt with 10.5 leading.
Landscape version is much easier to read and gets a bit more than a half page vertically.
